Sunday, 29 August: Back to Church Sunday
Every parish in the Diocese of Canberra and Goulburn is being encouraged to take part in Back to Church Sunday this year, on 29 August.
Back to Church Sunday (BTCS) is a very simple but effective way of growing the church by asking each member of the congregation to invite a friend along on a specific Sunday. Most parishes and ministry units in the region tried the concept last year and most were very encouraged by the results.
Prayer cards will be given out to day to encourage you to invite a friend to our Services. Most of us know someone who used to come to church but for a variety of reasons no longer attend, or maybe someone who you think would appreciate what we have to offer. The prayer card gives you the opportunity to pray about it.
COME AS YOU ARE -
